Social Infrastructure Takes Shape
Key developments highlighted by the government include:
- A 200-bed hospital under construction, targeted for completion in December 2026.
- An International Baccalaureate school, with completion targeted around October 2026.
- Investor accommodation targeted for completion by the end of September 2026.
- A completed fire station and food court.
- Residential and commercial developments under construction.
- A completed Tent City and a hotel under construction.
These facilities are intended to support the workforce, businesses and visitors expected as industrial activity increases.
Industrial Growth Is Driving Wider Development
Tata Electronics’ semiconductor project remains a major catalyst for Dholera’s development, with the wider ecosystem expanding through semiconductor materials, suppliers and supporting infrastructure.
A 363-acre semiconductor vendor park is also being developed to support companies operating around the planned fab.
This growing industrial base creates demand for supporting urban infrastructure, including housing, healthcare, education, retail and emergency services.
Connectivity Developments Continue
Dholera’s urban ecosystem is developing alongside major transport projects.
The Ahmedabad–Dholera Expressway is operational, while the Sarkhej–Dholera semi-high-speed rail project is progressing through its implementation stages. Dholera International Airport is also advancing toward its operational phase.
Together, these projects are building the connectivity network required to support a growing industrial and urban destination.
